Steinen brings a uniquely rich and varied background to her work as a Realtor. With roots across the country and experiences that span multiple industries, she connects easily with people from all walks of life. Her educational foundation is in art and design, holding a BA in Art History from Davidson College and a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University. Steinen’s professional journey has taken her from management consulting in Manhattan to teaching American construction history at a New England prep school. She’s founded a nature school for homeschoolers in the woods of Connecticut, run a successful bed and breakfast beside Arizona’s Saguaro National Park, and even spent time as a canoe instructor on the Potomac River. The mother of four teenage boys - her proudest accomplishment - Steinen brings warmth, integrity, and mindful listening to her real estate practice. Clients value her attention to detail, honest communication, and her trained eye for design and construction, all of which make her a steady, insightful guide through the buying and selling process.
